INTRODUCING DAILY UPLIFTS
The really odd thing is we should never let anyone else tell us how to live,
and at the same time we need all the guidance and inspiration we can get.

This is certainly the dilemma of the human experience. This applies to everything…our health, attitude, love, finances, relationships, careers and most certainly our bonds with ourselves. Life is about being pulled off track and having to find our way back, but hopefully new and improved. Over time, with appropriate teachers, tools and experience this process gets faster.

Each time we have yet another opportunity to rise to the top with even better health or outlook than we had before. The best experience comes from inexperience, but to milk our adventures for all the grace and grit they are potentially worth, we are greatly helped by others who have plodded and trekked this way themselves, and choose to share their angst's and ecstasies.

Thus, birthed the Daily Uplifts. And I’m not talking about bras.

You get facts, truths, lessons, inspirations, humbling experiences that have birthed one- and two-liners. Daily uplifts download some molecules of hope, hopefully fast. May this add to the power as well as gentleness of your day.

19/04: Suffering

Suffering hurts. But on the spiritual plane suffering sculpts.
Not resisting the chisel's knife; if we invite pain in to BE with us for tea,
crackers and to thin our waistline like a sculpture—suffering hurts less.
Becomes transformative. Makes us stronger as it gets smaller.

19/04: Frustration

When life just won't go where you want it to go; take a closer different look. Determinedly choose to shift your vision about what your life is screaming at you. Discuss this option calmly to yourself like you would a child. Allow for the in sync-ness to enter your molecules and make itself known while you also plot to creatively outgas your appropriate angst. Up with emotional housecleaning!

My mother passed away peacefully 10 days ago. It has been a time of hurt, love, sharing, isolation, healing, and growth. A swath of life and transition. In loving memory of Elynor Naomi Berkson.

If your life isn't leading you to more humility, your life isn't really working.

There are 2 types of people, those who will do anything to move toward love, and those who will do anything to avoid fear and pain. This filters our perceptions, dictates our outcomes, and controls what shows up on our plates in front of us. Do you move fearward or faithward? Step outside yourself and take an honest look. Have a gentle day!
